Humanities Bulletin is a fully Open Access journal. All published articles are immediately and permanently available to read, download, copy, distribute, and print free of charge, with no subscription or paywall barriers. The journal does not charge authors any submission fees, Article Processing Charges (APCs), or hidden costs at any stage of the editorial process.

Copyright & Licensing Terms

Authors who publish with Humanities Bulletin agree to the following terms:

• Licensing & Re-use: Authors grant rights of the "First Publisher" to the Journal and agree for their work to be licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Under this license, others are free to share (copy and redistribute) the material in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and original publication in this journal. The material cannot be used for commercial purposes, and if you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.

• Repository Policy (Self-Archiving): Authors are permitted and encouraged to enter into free distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post the final publisher PDF to an institutional repository, personal website, or academic networks such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu), provided that its initial publication in this journal is properly acknowledged with a direct link/DOI.

• Secondary Distribution: To enter additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., re-publishing the manuscript in an edited collection or book chapter), authors are required to notify the publisher in advance and ensure that the new publication gives appropriate credit to Humanities Bulletin as the First Publisher, provides a link to the journal, and indicates if any changes were made.

• Co-Authorship Integrity: Manuscripts submitted under multiple authorship are reviewed and published on the explicit assumption that all listed co-authors concur with the submission, have approved the manuscript, and agree on the final version to be published.
